Axon to Showcase Cutting-Edge Shrink Sleeve Application Solutions at Pack Expo Las Vegas 2023

Attendees can stop by Booth C-3125 for an inside look at the new Aurora® sleeve applicator, HydroTech™ and the HE-500 Steam Tunnel. They are also encouraged to stop by booth C-3225 to see an integrated vitamin bottle capping and tamper band application solution in partnership with NJM.
New Shrink Sleeve and Tamper Band Solutions
Axon will showcase the Aurora® 5.0, a game-changing applicator for sleeves and tamper-evident bands. The new Aurora 5.0 can perform four different shrink applications, plus it is ergonomically designed for operator safety with enhanced standard guarding and lightweight tooling. Aurora 5.0 applicators provide reliable, steady-state production at speeds up to 500 containers per minute. The new Aurora adopts P.E. Labellers’ distinguished ergonomic design and takes performance to the next level with improved film application control and higher speeds than previous models. This newly redesigned machine marks a significant milestone for Axon, P.E. Labellers, and ProMach, highlighting the commitment to collaboration and innovation.
Returning Applicators, Shrink Tunnels & Integrated Lines
Attendees will also see more Axon products in action this year. The HE-500 Steam Tunnel is a high-efficiency steam shrink tunnel featuring an integrated steam generator with minimal condensation output. HydroTech™ is a tamper-evident band applicator for both round and non-round containers with speeds of up to 300 containers per minute. In collaboration with NJM in Booth C-3225, Axon’s EZ-100 applicator and EZ-24-BR shrink tunnel will be applying tamper-evident bands to vitamin bottles following an NJM capper on an integrated line.
