EZ‑Wide applicators are Axon’s low‑ to mid‑speed, value‑priced solution for wide format shrink sleeve and tamper‑evident band applications. Designed for large containers and multipacks, EZ‑Wide models accommodate films up to 900 mm (35.4 in) layflat, making them well suited for demanding packaging requirements that exceed standard applicator capabilities.

EZ‑Wide machines use a vacuum‑style film threading system and economical stepper motors to deliver consistent, repeatable performance. Available in single‑head and dual‑head configurations, EZ‑Wide applicators support steady‑state production speeds ranging from 35 to 90 containers per minute, depending on model, configuration, and container size.

The EZ‑Wide series includes three models to support a broad range of container diameters and film widths:
